TV Room
The entertaining rooms of the home were lit with adjustable multi-head MR16 luminaries. The 12' ceilings required a light source that had some ability to travel the distance. Since they are easily dim able, multiple light levels and scenes can be programmed into the lighting control system to meet the various needs of the residents.

Game Room
The ceiling in this area presented a problem because of the many recesses in the design element. By bringing the light source down to the bottom of each recess we were able to eliminate the many shadows that would have resulted with typical recessed cans. By utilizing a rail lighting system, the game room will have all the flexibility it needs as the function of the room changes over time. The lamp holders can be adjusted to any point along the rail in each recess, as well as aimed at any surface in the room. Honeycomb lenses help trim potential glare.

LED Step Lights
There are three stairways in this residence. The views show the rough-in stage as well as the finished design. Since all stairs lead to the entertaining area of the home, and are visible from many angles both inside and outside, they were treated as a work of art to look interesting, as well as to provide a safe navigation of each stairway. Note the interesting pattern when looking at the stairs through the front deck windows. Controls for this technology were hidden in a central closet for ease of accessibility.

Residential Dining Room
Because of the beautiful water views, the homeowner wanted a clean look throughout the entertaining area of the residence. No chandeliers or pendants were used to keep the look light and airy. Adjustable recessed cans in single and multiple lamp configurations put light where it is needed without obstructing the view. A lighting control system allows the homeowner to set several different lighting levels and scenes depending on the activity taking place.

Retail Wine Bar
These images detail the use of color changing LED technology to alter the look of an interior environment. The changing color allows for different dining and entertaining atmospheres depending on the function taking place. The intimate space can change its appearance automatically through the use of a simple computer program running in the background, or instantly through the use of preprogrammed wall buttons. When the background lighting is reduced to minimum levels to show off the color changing ceiling, this place becomes enchanting!

Ruth's Chris Steak House
An image looking from the dining area into the bar/lounge. The bar/lounge wine selection is lit by fiber optic lighting, chosen because it emits no UV that would "skunk" the wine. All the labels of the wine bottles look like little billboards, brightly illuminated. Speaks to use of lighting technology to overcome an obstacle. Some decorative lighting elements are evident as well.

UNCG Water Tower
An outside evening image of the water tower, focusing on the illumination of the schools logo. The bright image of the tower is placed behind an image of an adjoining building which is illuminated by street lights, but at a much lower level than the tower. It illustrates the tight "focus" of the lighting plan to hit a target, without putting "spill light" on the building in front of the tower. Speaks to lighting "engineering"

Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church
Beautiful relief sculpture of The Madonna and Child set over the main entry to the church. This is an example of commercial facade lighting that can bring out the details of any building.
